A little bit about us...

I had always dreamt of starting my own business and being able to offer a holistic retreat and romantic hideaway for couples to recharge and immerse themselves in this beautiful landscape that we are so lucky to call home.

 

After many years in the corporate world, I worked in various hospitality settings and roles in busy pubs, restaurants, hotels, retail and spa’s. I love connecting with people and have been doing this for many years. I decided life is too short to keep thinking about it and that I needed to use my wealth of experience to create this little piece of heaven for others to enjoy… and so The Goose Lodge plans began!

I have worked in many cities all of my career but have always loved living in the countryside and being amongst nature and animals. Both Mick and I love to be outdoors, walking our dogs, riding our horses and continuing to renovate our Tudor period home. I am responsible for all of the delicious fruits and vegetables in the kitchen garden and thanks to my love of baking you will have the opportunity taste a few of my recent creations and home-made jams.

 

I am of course also responsible for the relaxing treatments available to you during your stay as we have an award winning Beauty Retreat on site to help make your break even more relaxing. All of the treatments available with Beauty at The Goose House can be emailed and booked at the time of reservation.

 

Mick is the responsible for the creative design and building within our lovely property, and of course all the repairs!
